Bacteria in the Neisseria and Haemophilus genera can be responsible for infections including meningitis and respiratory infections. As some of these organisms are becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics, it is essential to make appropriate treatment decisions based on accurate testing. Convenient and safe VITEK® 2 ID cards are self-contained, disposable cards designed for use with the VITEK®2 family of instruments. With the VITEK®2 NH ID card, you rapidly and accurately identify a broad range of Neisseria and Haemophilus bacteria.
